The Same Old Spy Game

Do Not Fall For The Lies About The Omnipotence Of Spy Tech

Nasrallah In One Of His Last Speeches

The Israeli assassination of Nasrallah confirms to us how the Palestinian resistance forces pulled off Operation Al Aqsa Flood in near total secrecy. Over the past few years it seems that the Hamas led resistance in Gaza systematically hunted down all of the Israeli spies and informers some of which they killed and others they kept around and feeding the Israelis false information. Strangely enough the very fact that Israel had constructed a high tech prison actually worked to the resistance forces advantage because very tight control was placed on everyone and everything coming in and out of Gaza via the official border crossings. This meant that Hamas was able to far more effectively control the information space inside Gaza and turn this situation to their advantage. Without human assets all of Israel’s much vaunted, high tech spy systems were rendered utterly useless. Why is that? Because any data processing system is only as good as the data that is fed into it, if you’ve compromised the intelligence networks the tech relies on to do its analysis then you render it irrelevant. This is what Hamas was able to do and reminds us of a very important lesson, without their agents and informers the imperialists are blinded. This is an important organisational and political lesson for everyone to learn. Firstly the political lesson. If you observe the way in which the assassination of Nasrallah is being talked about in the imperialist press they are promoting very heavily the idea of Israeli technological omnipotence once again. This was something that the US/Israel really needed to reassert badly because it got severely damaged by October 7th.

The imperialists want everyone to feel as if their every move could bring a drone strike or a bunker buster bomb down on their heads. This is the fear factor that the US needed to have re-established and this strike enables them to do just that. The lesson for us though is that it will turn out to be human intelligence assets who provided the US with the information they needed to carry out this assassination. Satellite systems, advanced data processing and all the rest of the technology the US has at its disposal can assist but it still comes down to the imperialists having people on the ground who can feed them information. The imperialists want us to feel as if their tech makes them almost immortal but October 7th and its planning clearly shows us otherwise. The political lesson here is the opposite of what the imperialists want us to learn, it is the same game as it ever was when it comes to security and counter intelligence, it is the human factor. Lebanon is much harder to secure than Gaza because not only is it relatively open but the US and its allies have operated extensive spy networks in that country for decades. They have a near unlimited budget for anti-Hezbollah operations and will be looing to recruit constantly. That, in my view, will be how they pulled this off. What that also means though is that the resistance forces have the opportunity to address any compromised elements here. That is the organisational lesson which all resistance forces will (I am sure) learn, that you have to build and maintain a very strong counter intelligence system. This is partly about organisation but also is about the role of the masses, the level of political education and the vigilance against the actions of enemy assets. Hezbollah has a lot of that in place already but it’s clear that some of this got compromised. I am certain that the next generation of leaders will learn from it. We must learn to as what is turned on the oppressed nations will (inevitably) be turned on us in the imperial core nations very soon.
