This track contains readings of the various introductions written by Marx & Engels from the original printing in 1848 to just before Engels death in 1895. They chronicle the expansion of the workers movement to Russia, Italy and Poland.

The music featured at the beginning is ‘The Red Banner’ which was a march performed in Mongolia during the Communist Period. The outro music is ‘A Pickaxe In One Hand And A Rifle In The Other’ a song of the Albanian Communist partisans of World War 2.
