Ukraine War Livestream 21/06/2023
This is the audio from a recent livestream for viewers on patreon covering the class war that has been waged in Ukraine since 1991 and how the war is an extension of that.
weekend update – 03/06/2023
In this update I look at the latest from the front lines in Eastern Ukraine/Western Russia. This includes the latest raids in the Belgorod region of Russia and the Ukrainian attacks in the Zaporozhye region. I then look at the Singapore conference held recently that saw the US and Chinese defence ministers briefly exchange words. I then turn to look at the increasing dangers posed by a US imperialism that is under pressure across the world.
Outro music is the anthem of the Ukrainian SSR.

I then turn to look at alarming developments in US politics with a Presidential candidate (Vivek Ramaswamy) declaring himself in favour of a military assault on Mexico to “fight the cartels”.
Outro music is the Mexican Communist song “Canción al Partido Comunista”

In this edition of the daily update I look at the war of words between British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and Dmitri Medvedev over the formers endorsement of attacks inside the Russian Federation. I then examine why the British government is acting in a such an aggressive fashion in Ukraine and what this tells us about the crisis facing imperialism. I then move onto looking at the Peruvian compradors inviting US forces into the country to “train” their military and why this spells danger for the Peruvian working class.
Outro Music is the DPRK patriotic song “Peace Is On Our Bayonets”

In this episode I look at the feverish talk of the Ukrainian offensive that is reportedly planned for the next few days in the Zaporozhye region. I then turn to look at the border clashes between Iran and Afghanistan and the dire situation facing Pakistan over its debts to imperialist institutions like the IMF. In this episode I look at the increasing number of Ukrainian attacks inside the territory of the Russian Federation why this is likely to increase. I then turn to look at why Zelensky is running away from Ukraine every chance he gets and where Zaluzhny has got to with the much vaunted offensive still being promised and not yet delivered. I conclude by looking at a disgraceful motion passed by my former trade union this week the embodies everything wrong with the leadership of the British trade unionism.

In this episode I look at the threats made by Polish government officials towards Belarus and what these could mean when considered alongside the latter becoming part of the Russian nuclear defence system. I then look at a recent statement by Dmitri Medvedev relating to the potential future for Ukrainian statehood (or lack thereof) whilst the BBC try to threaten the wrong South African political leader. I conclude by examining the nature of Russo-Indian relations and how Modi has (thus far) been a disappointment to the US imperialists.

Outro music for this episode is ‘Nitsokhn Lid’ – A Yiddish anti fascist song from the Great Patriotic War.
Ukraine war daily #5 24/05/2023
In this episode I examine some deeply dishonest arguments that have been made against the Russian intervention in Ukraine. The first comes from former US ambassador to Ukraine Michael Mcfaul whose meltdowns on twitter have become legendary.
The second comes from a recent article published by Compact Magazine which is an example of Trotskyism at its lowest and most repugnant.
Outro music for this episode is the Libyan National Anthem from the Gadaffi period (1969-2011)
Ukraine war daily #4 23/05/2023
In this episode I look at the fall out from the Ukrainian debacle at Artyomovsk and how much this has been dictated by the priorities of US imperialism. I then turn to the attempted Ukrainian raid into Belgorod and the disaster that turned out to be. Given the alleged involvement of Russian fascists in this raid, working for Ukraine, I look at the history of Nazism in Russia and the comprador bourgeoisies role in promoting it in the 1990s.
Outro Music for this episode is ‘I Am A Communist’ the lyrics of which are in the language of Karalapakstan, formerly an autonomous region within the Uzbek SSR. The performer is Makset Xodjaniyazov and the lyrics are by Bayniyaz Kaipnazarov.
ukraine war daily #3 – 22/05/2023
In this episode I look back at the origin of the Ukraine as being located in the long term crisis of US imperialism. In doing so I look at the Maidan coup, the reasons for the extreme violence involved in it, the events in Ukraine as a class war and why the project is so crucial for US imperialism. This also takes in the Russian intervention in Syria and how this plays into the US actions in Ukraine.

Ukraine War Daily #1 – 20/05/2023
In this first episode of the new version of an older show I look at the meaning of the fall of the Artyomovsk/Bakhmut which was officially announced today. I then move onto to look at the role of Prigozhin, the nominal head of the Wagner organisation, his role within the Russia state and how all of this relates to the different ways the Russian leadership has pursued the war since February of last year. I then turn to look at the readmittance of Syria into the Arab league the devastating costs of the so called “war on terror”. The outro music for this episode is ‘Chekists Song’ performed by Iosif Kobzon.
